Larthago (Carthago x Calleto 1) is our favourite.
She is 16 years old now but has an unbelievable record.

She had 11 foals, 6 of them she carried herself, and the others were born by means of embryo transplant. Meanwhile she kept on racing in the jumping sport for NKB by Koen Leemans.
She won a lot of first prizes and became NKB Champion jumping, category ‘heavy’.

After those achievements she ran for the World Championships young horses under Koen Leemans.
Later on her international career was to be continued under rider Mathijs van Asten.

The results were marvellous.

Larthago zelf is dragend van Zelote en via embryo van de duitse kampioen Diarado.

Her foals were sold to:
Argentina – Zangersheide- England – VDL STUD

Her son CEVIN Z ( Corrial Z) is an approved stallion in England. He is 8 years old and is at the beginning of an International career with the English rider William Funnel.

Now 2 stallions of hers and Heartbreker are being raised who will be presented at KWPN testing.

We ourselves own two 5-year old mares for our own stud:

  • Chellano Z x Carthago x Calleto 1 is with young from Canturano.
  • Caretano Z x Carthago x Calleto 1 is with young from Cicero Z.

In 2004 is Larthago teruggekomen uit de internationale topsport met een zware blessure. Zij is hieraan geopereerd maar zal niet terugkeren in de topsport.
Zij wordt dus nu ingezet voor de fokkerij.

VDL Harley is in 2006 uitgeroepen tot kampioenshengst van het NRPS.
